The SPVS Ltd Congress 2026 brought together veterinary professionals from across the UK for a busy programme of learning, networking and industry discussion. Held at the Birmingham Hilton Metropole, the event offered an excellent opportunity for veterinary practices and suppliers to connect and explore new ways to support modern veterinary care.
For Raman Pharma, the congress provided a valuable chance to meet independent practices in person, introduce our team and share how we help practices source the medicines they need, from everyday essentials to harder-to-find treatments.
Meeting the Raman Pharma team
Visitors to our stand were welcomed by our CEO and RP Dhruv Raheja, alongside Territory Managers Nicole Ward and Laura Marsh. As our new local Territory Managers, Nicole and Laura spent time meeting veterinary professionals, discussing the challenges practices face when sourcing medicines and introducing the support Raman Pharma provides.
Having Dhruv at the stand also allowed attendees to learn more about our mission and commitment to ethical pharmaceutical supply for veterinary practices – ensuring medicines are sourced responsibly, supplied through trusted channels and priced fairly and transparently for independent practices.
Supporting independent veterinary practices
Many of the conversations at the event focused on how practices can manage medicine supply more efficiently while maintaining high standards of care.
Visitors were particularly interested in learning about our extensive product range and services, including:
UK’s largest range of human and imported medicines for veterinary use
24-hour temperature-controlled delivery to most UK locations, year-round
Ethical sourcing and fair pricing
Verified supply chains that meet UK regulatory standards
A strong focus on customer service
Access to more than 5,000 bespoke formulations through our compounding partner, Ascot Laboratories Ltd
Valuable conversations with veterinary professionals
One of the most valuable aspects of SPVS Congress is the opportunity for genuine, face-to-face conversations with veterinary professionals. Many visitors brought along their order lists to discuss potential improvements to pricing, availability and sourcing options. These conversations reflect the importance of transparent pricing and open dialogue, helping practices understand their options and make cost-effective decisions without compromising patient care.
These discussions gave us insight into the challenges practices are currently experiencing, including supply chain pressures and the need for reliable suppliers who can help source specialist or imported medicines when required.
Thank you for visiting us
It was a pleasure for our team to meet so many veterinary professionals and talk about how we can support independent practices with reliable, ethical medicine supply and responsive service.
We’d like to thank everyone who visited our stand. If you didn’t get the opportunity to speak with us at the event, our team would be happy to continue the conversation. Please contact the Raman Pharma team on 01252 260460 or at sales@ramanpharma.com.
